Word Count is a system service for Mac OS X, providing a count of words, characters and paragraphs in selected text. Word Count is freeware.

Word Count appears in the Services menu, accessed in the application menu, next to the Apple menu in any application. Download the Word Count zip file, and the unzipped folder will contain instructions for installing and using Word Count
